A blog (short for web log) is a website where entries are written in chronological order and displayed in reverse chronological order.
Blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs.
I love definitions. What I love about this whole blog thing starts from the actual word, "blog." I mean, that's good stuff. You get to just BLAH BLAH BLAHG. I think it would be hard to just stick to one subject...but then, I am a rambler.
My new activity is checking out other blogs randomly by hitting the "next blog" button. The majority are written in languages other than English, there's a bunch of porn or pseudo porn, very interesting indeed and there are wacky other little finds along the way. Little portals into different lives. A view into people's thoughts, dreams, feelings. There's tons of crap but fun to sift through.
